Employment Contracts

Contracts, Policies and Restrictive Covenants.  The employment contract defines the employment relationship. A clear, concise, commercial contract or service agreement ensures that both parties are aware of their obligations.

Contracts, Policies and Restrictive Covenants

With employment contracts, one size doesn’t fit all.  Our sector teams’ specialist knowledge will ensure that your contractual documentation properly protects you and ensures that your organisation’s assets are protected.

We will ensure that your policies are up to date and relevant to your organisation.  We will perform a risk audit of your contracts and policies and provide clear, practical, commercial advice to protect your commercial interests.  Where necessary we will advise on successful implementation of new contracts or policies.

Restrictive covenants

Your employees are your most valuable asset, however when employees leave, your organisation may require protection to safeguard your legitimate business interests.  In these situations, enforceable restrictions are vital.  We will advise on appropriate contractual restrictions including:

  • Confidentiality clauses
  • Restrictive covenants
  • Garden leave
  • Deferred bonus and LTIPs
  • When needed we will enforce restrictions on your behalf to protect your organisation. – See our Employment Litigation page
