When it is not possible to prevent the prosecution then we ensure that your position is robustly defended, where necessary effecting changes in the application of the law. Having brought key cases such as HTM and Porter which changed the interpretation of concepts such as reasonable practicability and risk, in addition recovering on average 90% of their costs- our track record speaks for itself.
For several decades we have specialised in this area of law, understanding the drivers of the regulators and assisting companies devise commercially tailored solutions to achieve safety within their businesses. We understand that health and safety law does not exist in a vacuum and have worked hard to understand the different needs of sectors as diverse as nuclear and renewable energy to retail, food, construction, transport and healthcare.
