Leading business law firm, DWF, has recruited banking and finance expert, Deborah Kirtley, as a partner in its Newcastle office.
Previously a partner and head of banking at Dickinson Dees, Deborah has over twenty years’ industry experience and has acted for both banks and borrowers. Having undertaken banking work across a wide range of industries, Deborah’s sector knowledge makes her the ideal candidate to help grow DWF’s banking and finance offering in the North East
With extensive knowledge in relation to the funding of property acquisitions and development transactions, and also the funding of corporate acquisitions, Deborah has a wealth of experience working on high profile transactions involving Premier League football clubs and hotel chains such as, Radisson, Hilton and Malmaison.
The move follows the recent announcement that DWF will be expanding its presence in the North East following its merger with Crutes. This latest investment reaffirms DWF’s commitment to growth in the region
The DWF Banking and Finance Group has grown from strength to strength over the course of 2011, revealing 11 per cent growth when announcing its half year results in October. The group also expanded into the Midlands this year following the appointment of Joanne Davis as head of Asset Finance in DWF’s new Birmingham office.
