Leading business law firm, DWF, is continuing to invest in its high profile Private Client team with the recruitment of Steven Appleton as an Associate in its Leeds office.

Previously a solicitor at West Yorkshire firm, Last Cawthra Feather, Steven has advised clients on all aspects of private client law: from wills and probate to tax planning and Court of Protection matters.

Steven also became a professional member of the national organisation, Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), last year. As a member of SFE, Steven specialises in legal matters for older people, including care funding and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Steven Appleton commented: “DWF is a values led firm, and as a business it has gone from strength to strength in recent years. The Private Client team has outstanding credentials and I look forward to working with them to help grow the practice group in Leeds.”

Graham Ball, National Head of Private Client at DWF, adds: “Our Private Client team specialises in providing tailored advice in response to our clients’ needs.

“Appointing Steven allows us to expand our offering even further. He has built up an excellent reputation for providing comprehensive advice to the elderly and it is this knowledge, along with his extensive experience in dealing with probate, tax planning and Court of Protection matters, that makes him the perfect candidate to join the team in Leeds.”
